Salud de Paloma extra virgin olive oils are cold-pressed and bottled in Dripping Springs, Texas, in collaboration with Texas Hill Country Olive Oil Company, where there is an on-site olive mill, bottling, and distribution operation.
We use a blend of Texas and California olives to deliver the freshest oils possible. Some of our olives come from California – Texas olive growers are still developing their production capacity. We always seek to source most of our olives from the closest farms possible.
Salud de Paloma partners with food banks, farmers markets, Latino grocers, nonprofit organizations, public institutions, and restauranteurs to ensure that everyone receives the health benefits of our Texas produced olive oil. We also partner with food and health bloggers who are interested in helping us spread the word to the community about eating and cooking healthy.
Our commitment goes beyond selling extra virgin olive oil. Ten cents of each Salud de Paloma Extra Virgin Olive Oil bottle sold will be donated to BCL of Texas, a nonprofit organization supporting women, minority and veteran owned businesses. We participate in many community events, including job and health fairs. Read more about our company’s mission here.
The Salud de Paloma olive oil brand was founded by Rosa Ríos Valdez, Andres Garza Jr., Jose “Pepe” Treviño, and David Brennan. We hope you will share our story of Salud de Paloma with your local grocery store, school, restaurant chefs, friends…and your families.
